About LazyPDF
LazyPDF is a privacy-first PDF toolkit that's free to use. Most of our tools run directly in your browser, so your files never leave your device; a few heavier operations like compression and conversion run on our secure server and are deleted right after.
Privacy First
Most tools process your files entirely in your browser. For the few that require a server, files are sent over an encrypted connection and deleted right after processing — never stored.
Lightning Fast
No waiting for uploads or downloads. Everything happens instantly on your device.
Free to Use
Every tool is free to use with a generous daily allowance — no account needed to start. Create a free account to raise your limits, or go Pro for unlimited use and larger files.
30 Languages
Available in 30 languages to serve users worldwide.
Founded by Lucas Martín
LazyPDF was created by Lucas Martín, a software engineer based in France with extensive experience in web development and document processing technologies. The project was born from a simple frustration: most online PDF tools either cost money, require registration, or upload your sensitive files to unknown servers. LazyPDF was built to prove that powerful PDF tools can be free, fast, and privacy-respecting.
Our Mission
We believe PDF tools should be fast, affordable, and respect your privacy. Most processing happens locally in your browser using modern web technologies like pdf-lib and Tesseract.js; for the few tools that need a server, your files are processed securely and deleted immediately after.
Our Tools
LazyPDF offers 20+ tools including merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, protect, unlock, OCR, page numbers, organize, and format conversions (PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, and vice versa). Most tools run entirely client-side. Only heavy operations like compression and document conversion use our secure server.
